The whole series is sooooooo good though. There some evilness out to kill Arutha again. I mean leave him the hell alone! So we are off to see the wizard again. In the mean time we have Pug yay and Tomas yay back together. Anyway, Tomas put on this armor for reasons and he changed.
He changed into something a little bizarre and he went to live with the Elves. Then in the distance a sound of mighty wings beating upon the night air could be heard. Soon the sound was a loud rush of wind and a titanic shape blotted out the stars. Landing in the clearing was a gigantic figure, its descent swift and light, despite its size. Wings spanning over a hundred feet on each side gently landed a body bulking larger than any other creature in Midkemia.
Silver sparkles of moonlight danced over golden scales as a greater dragon settled to the earth. A head the size of a heavy wagon lowered, until it hung just above and before the two men. Giant eyes of ruby color regarded them. Then the creature spoke. Pug and Tomas have to travel to a place with Ryaths help to find Macros.
Yes, it turns out you can find that which you think is lost. They need his help to conquer some evil. I loved the ending with the exception of one thing. I just hate to see it end. I do have the other books in the Riftwar Saga and will get to read about some others, but still, it makes me sad. Recommend to all fantasy peeps!
A Darkness At Sethanon
It describes how Murmandamus, a new prince of the Dark Brotherhood, marshals the forces of the Moredhel and invades the kingdom, with the intent of finding the Lifestone, a powerful relic with which he will be able to destroy every living thing in the world, so as to resurrect the Valheru Lords of old. Only Pug and Tomas can stop this new evil, thereby ending the Riftwar. Plot summary[ edit ] Arutha , Prince of Krondor, uses an attempted assassination as a ruse to fake his own death so that he may travel north to confront Murmandamus. In an attempt to destroy a majority of the army, Guy orders the evacuation of the city, and ignites the naphtha mines below the city. Murmandamus escapes unscathed, and the army marches towards the border of the Kingdom of the Isles. Meanwhile, Pug and Tomas begin searching the world, and eventually beyond, for the famed sorcerer Macros the Black , thought killed when he helped to destroy the rift at the end of Magician.
A Darkness at Sethanon
The Princess Carline, their sister, gave an ultimatum to her lover, Laurie the minstrel: wed her or leave the palace. When Arutha finally returned to Krondor, late one night, Jimmy the Hand, a boy thief, stumbled across and foiled a Nighthawk, an assassin, whose target was Arutha. It was a standing order among the Mockers that all news of the Nighthawks be reported at once. Jimmy became confused about where his loyalty lay, with the Mockers — the Guild of Thieves — or with Arutha, whom he had known the year before.
