Most of the books we read are business books with a Christian theme. His church has grown to be one of the largest churches in the country. My local church had the pleasure of having Bill Hybels speak a few months back. Not only does Bill have a passion for the local church but also a passion for business and mentorship. Hybels has lead Willow Creek Church for over three decades grow from just a few to over 25, in weekly attendance. In this book, Bill Hybels talks about 76 Axioms leadership proverbs that helped him to grow the church and also mentor hundreds of pastors and business leaders.

I just fished reading Axiom by Bill Hybels with a handful of the leadership team at Central. Bill Hybels is a church leader so he writes from the perspective of leading churches and worldwide ministries however, his insights hybeks applicable for leadership in all areas.

Those who go on mission trips come back and tell their mission stories because lives are passionately transformed to be like Jesus, especially those who go on the trip. He is the creator of the Global Leadership Summit. Bill Hybels taught me the power of language.

I read Axiom in after attending the Leadership Summit Simulcast. John Maxwell taught me the power of principles that build off each other. I walked right past this on the book table, thinking Hybels had run out of things to say and settled on rehashing little tidbits.
